Rempeyek

rempeyek utuh, rempeyek bulet.
oleh-oleh kawan dari jogja.
maunya dimakan di rumah, sama kangmas.

rempeyek utuh, rempeyek bulet.
sepertinya enak.
apalagi dimakan di rumah, sama kangmas.

rempeyek utuh, rempeyek bulet.
dimasukin tas. naik KRL.
biar bisa dimakan di rumah, sama kangmas.

rempeyek utuh, rempeyek bulet.
sampai rumah udah jadi remah-remah, bentuk berantakan.
tetep bisa dimakan di rumah, sama kangmas.

rempeyek.
karena perjalanan KRL bukan untuk rempeyek.
kecuali emang mau remah rempeyek.

Kerja Jangan Baper!

kerja ya kerja aja. seorang rekan lain juga pernah mengatakan, 'you got to do what you got to do.'

no matter how good you are, no matter how bad you are, people will always talk.

menolong orang meskipun bilangnya tidak berharap balasan apa-apa, tetap saja dilakukan karena it felt good. doing good things indeed felt good. itu apa kalau bukan imbalan?

2nd step out there!!! Dreams do come true!!

Alhamdulillah,, MasyaAllah,,
Alhamdulillah,, Dreams do come true, guys!!
well,, at least give your best effort and keep praying that Allah will make it easier for you.
and for me, all i can say is Alhamdulillah. :)

well, starting on feb 29, and end on march 6, of course i have a lot of things to write here.
there's a lot of things i like to talk about, but it'll be a quite long writing, so i decided to divided it into segments.

first here, the Itinerary.

We came to japan bringing our own itinerary, a very detailed one, down to the minutes.
it states how long we will stay in one place, how long we have to walk, and also the amount of time the trains took. our itinerary can be summarized like this:

Feb 29
Arrived in Haneda, booking Ghibli Studio's ticket, buy Pasmo/Suica card.
sleep: Haneda Airport

March 1
Exchange our JR Pass, booking NobiNobi Seat - Sunrise Izumo to Kyoto.
Walking around Akihabara, Shibuya, Odaiba (real size Gundam) and Ooedo Monogatari Onsen.
sleep: Booth Net and Cafe, Shinjuku

March 2
Go to Kawaguchiko using Highway Bus near Shinjuku Sta, explore KachiKachi Ropeway, Arakura Sengen Shrine, and Chureito Pagoda
at night, Tokyo Sky Tree
sleep: NobiNobi seats, Sunrise Izumo, to Kyoto.

March 3
Arrived in Kyoto, Explore Saga Arashiyama (Bamboo Groves, Saga toriimoto preserved street, Nisonin temple, Tenryuji Temple, Togetsukyo Bridge).
Explore Toei Studio Park
Go to Osaka using Shinkansen at evening, buy Osaka amazing free pass.
Floating Garden Observatory and HEP Five wheels at night.
sleep: Shin-Imamiya hotel.

March 4
Universal Studio, Tsutenkaku Tower, Tennouji Zoo, Osaka Castle, Dotonburi, Tombori River Cruise,
Shinkansen to Tokyo at night.
Sleep: Manga net darts Museum Ginza, Tokyo

March 5
Explore Ghibli Studio
Back to Haneda airport.

March 6
Transit in KL, arriving in Jakarta :)

but then,, what happened was..

Day 1 - feb 29
not much to do here, since our flight is a connecting flight so we have to transit in KL before going to Japan. it took all day, and we arrive in Haneda around 11 pm. just close enough to have a run to Softbank to pick up our pocket wifi before it closes on 11 pm.
and then, we buy our Pasmo card. there's nothing else to do since everything already closed, except Lawson on the 1st floor, so we slept. yep. at the airport. well, we're not the only who did that so yeah, it feels safe. but since it's winter, damn it's feezing.

actually we plan on buying Ghibli Studio's ticket in Lawson for March 5, but unfortunately it was all sold out. so we have to make a new itinerary arrangement. Alhamdulillah my best friends and I didn't have a lot of difference and i can say, quite compatible, so we didn't have any difficulties in making a new itinerary on the spot. well, actually we postponed the discussion until we get to Shibuya. lol.
we also tried to find any Halal Label's food in Lawson, but we couldn't find any. hmpf.

Day 2 - March 1
we had to wait until 7.45 for the JR office in Haneda open because we had to exchange our JR Pass there. i spent most of my time sleeping on the chair, lol.
oh, we had our first experience on using vending machine in Haneda Airport. and the restroom is a beautiful place. i mean, it's awesome. the restroom is totally different than what we have in our country. call me ndeso, but really it's awesome. i'll talk about it in different segment. ok?
so we went to JR Office, it located near the entrance of Tokyo Monorail. we were going to exchange our JR Pass and also make a reservations for NobiNobi Seat on the Sunrise Izumo Night Train. it's awesome. it has a sleeping place and it costs 14.500 yen. we were planning to go to Kyoto using that train.
but unfortunately, note this. JR Office in Haneda Airport can only make reservation for the day. it cannot make another day reservation, so we have to go to another JR Office. The officer told us that we can go to any other JR office in any stations. there, we can make an early reservation.
so, off we go to our first stop of the day - itinerary based, Akihabara, using our JR Pass to get on the Tokyo Monorail.
Going to Akihabara means transit in Hamamatsucho Sta and continued using JR Yamanote Lines.
and so, we arrived.
it was really, really cold, and it's only around 9 am. so yeah, no shops were open. yet. you can have an English Guide Map in Tourist Information Center for free.
we put our luggage in the coin locker so we can move freely. it costs 500 yen, we pick the medium size. and it used 100 yen-coin, so make sure you have the coins. or if you don't, you can go buy something in the family mart just next to the coin locker.
we walk around and then after a while we realize that no shops open yet, so we decided to go to Gundam Cafe. Alhamdulillah, it's open. and yes, we were their first customers.
the french fries is topnotch. a must try.
so after finishing our meal, we go out just in time the shops are opening. so we make a grand tour, i can say, because Akihabara is my main reason to go to Japan. yep, i'm going hunter mode. for Chopper and Sadaharu. we spend quite a lot of time there, and going in and out several stores. but i only found Chopper and Sadaharu that worth the money in our last two stops. it was Adores (Akiba 1131 Bldg.) and Takarada Musen Main Store.
we also make a stop at Laox. there we buy some souvenirs and halal foods. the shop assistance just happened to be Indonesian, so we have quite a lil chitchat there. and then he showed us the praying room and giving us directions for halal restaurants around akihabara. in Laox, if you spend min. 5.000 yen, you can show them your passport and it'll be tax free.
In Akihabara we went to JR Office to booked NobiNobi seats, but unfortunately, it was full booked. so we were yeah, shocked.

after that, we picked our bag, and go to the next stop. Shibuya.
in Shibuya we didn't put our luggage because we didn't plan on walking around.
there we took pictures with Hachiko statue. it was really crowded and there's a lot of people who'd like to take pictures, so we have to be patient. after taking pic, we took another pic on the famous Shibuya crossing. really. that's a lot of people.
and then we became so hungry. so we decided to eat French fries (again) in Burger King. there we also talk about our new plan, since the plan to Ghibli studio has been erased and leaving us a whole day unoccupied. so we decided to change our plan for the day, and also, where we would spend the night because the NobiNobi seats were full booked.
we moved Odaiba and Onsen to our last day, and we will go to Tokyo Sky Tree from here.
for March 3, we make reservations for Shinkansen Tokyo - Kyoto (6.26) and March 4 Shin-Osaka - Tokyo (17.16). but we haven't decided where to sleep on March 2.
so off we go to Tokyo Sky Tree. it costs 2.060 yen for 350 mtr.
it was freezing.
we were so tired, and it was quite late at night, around 10 pm, and we go to Shinjuku.
there we stayed at Booth Net and Cafe. it was quite cozy and doesn't seem like your usual cheap hotel. instead, it's a sophisticated Manga Cafe.
this is our room, just enough for the two of us, with mat to sleep. the restroom are really comfy. it's really recommended for those who wants to have a cheap place to sleep. it costs 2.080 yen for 8 hours, and it has free wifi and free drinks.

Day 3 - March 2
we go out early in the morning because we planned to ride the 7.10 bus to Kawaguchiko.
we were supposed to sleep in Tokyo that night, but since there are X Factors, which is our parents keep asking us on where we sleep, and if we go to Tokyo that means it will be another Manga cafe, and it's not proper of course, so we decided to spend another night in Booth Net and Cafe. the difference is we will have the capsule room, which costs 2.800 yen for 10 hours.
so we put our luggage in a coin locker in Shinjuku.

when we get to the Highway Bus' office, we didn't get the seat on 7.10, so we have to ride on the 7.40. but they gave us the option to get on the cancellation seat list. luckily, someone cancelled their reservations on 7.10 so we can have it. the bus costs 1.750 yen.
When you arrived in Kawaguchiko, go to the tourist information center, and ask about KachiKachi Ropeway. why? because they'll give you a coupon to get a 650 yen round trip for each person on your group. if you didn't, then you'll have to pay 720 yen each. :D
after that we went to Chureito Pagoda, using the local train. the stairs are hiiigh... and amazingly, there are students who run through it ups and downs (yes, with s, a couple times), while we were hardly catching our breath.
the view is awesome, you can see Mt. Fuji quite clearly. unfortunately for us, there was a cloud covering a part of Fuji San, but well, now i can print my own Fuji San calendar! lol.
after that we plan to go back to Shinjuku on 15.40 only to find that the next available seats are on 18.10. note this, don't forget to reserved your seats. lol.
the officer gave us choices to go to either Tokyo or Shibuya. so we chose to go to Shibuya that leaves on 16.00.
there was a traffic jam so we arrived in Shibuya around 7 pm. and then i just happen to take a quick look on our initial itinerary and found a place named "One Piece Mugiwara Store" in our Shibuya schedule. when i showed it to my best friends, she agreed.
so, we go there. note this, One Piece Mugiwara Store is located on 6th floor of Parco Shopping Mall.
the shop was awesome!
after that, we go back to Shinjuku. picking up our luggage, and go to Booth Net and Cafe.

Day 4 -March 3
we left at 5 from Booth Net and Cafe to get on 6.26 Shinkansen to Kyoto.
we put our luggage in Kyoto and then we explore Saga Arashiyama. but since we have climbed all those stairs yesterday, honestly our feet are tired. so we cut the places we want to visit down to three places, Togetsukyo Bridge, Tenryouji Temple, and Bamboo Groves. we didn't even bother to finished our walk in Bamboo grooves, lol.
but then we found a Muslim Friendly Restaurant there. although it costs around 1.600 yen each, but at least we have a decent meal after 3 days eating only bread, sausage, and onigiri. while eating we were making plans on what time we had to leave for Osaka.
and then we went to Toei Studio Park. but if we go in, we wouldn't catch the Shinkansen we wanted to go to Osaka. so we just take a pic, got a lil bit lost, and then finally found our way back to Kyoto Station, just in time to get on 15.13 Shinkansen to Osaka.
as soon as we arrived in Osaka, we had to go to Umeda Sta to buy Osaka Free Amazing Pass. note this, Osaka station and Umeda Station is in the same building. but after talking to the officer, we decided not to buy the Osaka Free Amazing Pass.
and then we set off to go to Shin Imamiya Hotel. it's a nice hotel, but i guess i watch too many Yamishibai, so i got scared on my own. but it went Ok.
after having some rest and onigiri, we set off to HEP Five Wheels. yep, once again we scratched out Floating Garden Observatory on our list because we were tired.
HEP Five wheels is 105 mtr high, and costs 500 yen. they took your pic before going up, and they sell it on your way out.
after that we went back to hotel, and sleep. oh yeah. i massage my own feet with counterpain that night.

Day 5 - March 4
after counting costs that we need to pay as the effect of not buying Osaka Free Amazing Pass and also taking our Shinkansen back to Tokyo schedule in mind, we decided to go to Tennouji Zoo and Dotonburi.
even after all those cutting places and time, seems like the time we spent in Dotonburi is really really short. oh yeah, things in Don Quijote is expensive and not really many choices. except if you want to buy foods without halal label. they have lots of it.
if you want to buy souvenir, buy it in Laox or in a souvenir shop in Daiba Diver City Shopping Mall. those places have halal, cheaper and cuter things.
but the cruise is worth to try. well it's quite expensive- 900 yen,  but it's the experience that counts.
after that we went to Dotonburi, and bought 10 pcs Takoyaki for 720 yen, with No Sauce. yes. No Sauce. since the non halal is on the sauce. it's good!! oishii! totally different from Takoyaki here. they really put Takoyaki in it! ahahha
after that we went to Shin-Osaka station and get on the Shinkansen to Tokyo.
we arrived around 20.10, and as for the place to sleep, we decided to stay in Booth Net and Cafe, again.
and maybe that's just the way it has to be, because we still needs to buy souvenir and Laox have a main branch there.

Day 6 - March 5
we get off our cozy little capsule room on 07.30, wandering around shinjuku, grab a french fries and a cup of hot tea in Burger King, and when Laox is at opening hours, we went there.
after that we went to Muji because one of my friend ask me to buy something there. if we didn't spend the night in Shinjuku, i wouldn't think all those things are possible.
after that we went to Odaiba to see a Life Size Gundam and Onsen.
we went to Onsen first because the Gundam wouldn't start moving until 5.30 pm.
in Onsen... it's a culture shock. yep. culture shock.
the Gundam is Ok, there are a lot of people taking pictures and videos.
that's my finger, just to show that it's not some random pic i found in google, Lol
after that we went to Haneda airport, and prepare to leave.
we board the plane on 22.40, and it was really hard to sleep. my body's ache all over,, hahaha

Day 7 - March 6
we arrived in KL around 7 am, and get on 9 am flight to Jakarta.
after arriving in Terminal 3, Soekarno Hatta int airport, our trip hasn't end. we took the shuttle bus to Terminal 1B, yes, to bought A&W. yes, we were hungry.
after that,, the trip officially ended.

that's all for itinerary segment.
Alhamdulillah.

we will continued in another segment for detailed information, OK?
hahaha

Rebound.

Rebound.
kata bang google, bounce back through the air after hitting a hard surface or object.

titik rebound seseorang itu bisa beda-beda. sederhananya, kalau belum hitting a hard surface or object, ga bakal rebound. ga bakal move on.
*nahlho

jadi intinya sih, menurut saya tiap orang punya batas toleransi masing-masing untuk melakukan rebound.
khusus untuk saya, saya lebih suka realistis. kalau udah usaha tapi tetep gak berhasil, ya Bismillah saja, kalau memang gak jodoh ya cari yang lain. selama masih berusaha, insya Allah bakal ketemu. in the end. kapannya masalah nanti saja. kalau kata ayah saya, "jodoh itu bukan target (waktu)". hm.

timbul pertanyaan selanjutnya, tau darimana effortnya uda cukup atau belum? tau darimana kalau kita tidak melewatkan jodoh kita?
well ya.. balik lagi. hard surfacenya macem gimana. kalau lebih banyak mudharatnya, buat apa?
kalau banyakan bikin makan atinya, mending makan babat. toh sama-sama jeroan. *eh

well, it works for me sih. entah untuk yang lain.
every head has its own headache. obatnya juga beda2. takarannya, jenisnya. beda.
meskipun agak panjang, tapi yaa.. memang udah gitu jalannya.

kalau kata Shimura Shinpachi,
"Love, whether anything comes of it or not, is apparently something that makes people grow."

jadi. jangan takut! mari Rebound!

Just Like This!!

it all started back then, when we were young.
2006.

but i can't exactly remember how did it all begun. who said "hi" first? who shook whose hand?
where did we sit?

well it's just happened that your name was right above my name on the attendance list.
haha. lol.
how good life could be? giving you best friend for years just right above your name on the attendance list?

of course we did meet other best friends along the way. Alhamdulillah most of them still sticking around, not so close in de facto distance, but a-watsapp-reach. and that's relatively close. haha.

so.
remember when you first join your first concert? and i'm gladly come to see you?
we did take pictures, you know?

yay! photo taken 15.03.2009, 17:10
and now that i have to perform on stage for a scripted-presentation, you gladly come to see me!
and we did take pictures!

yaay! photo taken 03.11.2015
nyahahahha...
woot?woot? 6 years apart and we still can take pictures together. it's awesome, don't you think??! no. it's SUPERB!

sometimes i wonder what kind of different choices that i could take along the way.
i left home to live in Kos-Kosan when i was only 17 and a half.
the nearest family i have live in 5 hours drive.
what could go wrong?
well practically, everything could go wrong. not that what i became now is a saint or something like that, but at least.. it's not bad, you know.
and one way or another, i feel glad.

what helped me the most is the people around me. who support me, who keep reminding me.
since 2006, up to 2015, and seems like it's still a long way to go. haha

2006, Malang, the beginning..
i was helped by those unbelievably amazing people.
  • Mbah Kos, who puts a strict rule (including have to be at home at 8pm on every 31st december), but taking a really good care of me all the time i was there, in good and in need.
  • CG team. superb! you guys are such a bunch of nice kids!! even when some of us had a bad habit or two, we didn't pass it on to the other. instead, we pass on answer sheet and even studied together!! hahahaha. CG team strive for greatness!! you guys were there when i was at my lowest and keep me from falling! eventhough you wake me up on my birthday so early in the morning i haven't brush my teeth yet. lol.
  • Indier. well, there are a lot of good and bad mixed in there. but i'm glad i graduated just fine. haha. i did take a lil bit bad in there though. but yeah. we were still young. i was young. but i'm better now. hahaha. but i can surely said Indier is like my 2nd family out there.
remember when it was my first birthday in Malang and all of you just pick me up and trick me to pay for dinner?
or remember when i had my first heartbreak and some of you pick the-still-have-red-and-sullen-eyes-me to get a cup of coffee to drink all the sorrows go?
so, surounded by these people i survived a 4,5 year being far away from home, from family.
and even some of the bad things i caught on those year somehow helped me, well it depends on perspective of course, such as gaming. anime. those two things makes me who i am now, and helped me form a simple conversation with another good strangers i met later on.

and then we move a lil bit forward, to 2011. in this big, crowded, blinding city. Jakarta.
i guess i'm lucky since i have my eldest sister lived in Jakarta when i moved. but since our work place is different, we decided to live in different place. and again i was helped. yes. because the good people i met in Malang also here! in Jakarta!!
and when my dad keeps reminding me to stay out of drugs, i almost laugh my heart out, since rather than spending money for drugs, i like spending money on Chopper more! hahhaha. and Chatime. i guess it has something to do with the C. like Chy in my name? mm. just pretend i didn't write that.

well.
just like Mas Ike said.

mieru ka na tsutawaru no ka na
kouyatte men muite kimi ni hanashiteokitai
itsuka hanareru kara eien nante nai kara
dakara ima shitte hoshikattanda
koko made kita juu nen hitori ja nakattatte koto

translation:

I wonder if you can see it.. I wonder if it gets across to you
I want us to sit like this, face to face, and talk
Someday we will eventuary part, since nothing lasts forever..
.. so, I wanted to let you know this now..
.. that the fact that I wasn’t alone for the past 10 years, coming this far..
.. singing my heart out with my broken voice..
.. regardless of times I said “let’s quit” trying to give up..
.. is all, because you’ve patiently been there for me

Please Don’t Change It.. letting someone like me, feel needed..
.. you’ve made me so content a simple thank you can’t possibly cut it
The one & only place in this world, for us and us alone..
.. where we can share bonds like a family with as many friends as the eye can see

Please Don’t Change It.. the fact that we were able to happen upon each other.. I finally could..
.. laugh with you about it.. and feel I want to put my trust in it.. seems I was able to meet my real self
Wherever I am headed, I want you to always be there.. just be there and smile at me
I’m not scared, long as you are with me.. I’d go anywhere.. Just Like This

so.
Thank you!!!:D
and of course. Alhamdulillah, Subhanallah!!

Gibberish.

so.
based on personal experience reference, life is tough. not mentioning being a human, damn, that was rough, even.
that's why it is important to have faith.
and they didn't say "where there's a will, there's a way" for nothing.
because it's true. what matters is how big and how strong your will is.

and then, there's also things about doing the right thing.
yeah, like it was easy to do.
but actually at some point it is the easiest thing to do. because you wouldn't feel your guilty conscience eating you up late at night while you're trying to sleep.
so do the right thing.
even if it is the hardest thing to do.

because life's right and wrong wasn't as simple as turning on the lamp.
you can do wrong things right. or you can do right things wrong.
sometimes to do the right things you hurt others. or yourself.
sometimes you do the wrong things and everyone happy.
when you make a decision, it helps one, but hurts another.
there's no win win solution, it's a compromise solution, really.

sometimes you give up the things you want the most for the things you need the most. or maybe it's the other way around.
well, sometimes man can't even differentiate between the things they need and the things they want.
it's confusing. and tricky.

sometimes it's even better to jump head first just to see what you're made of. plus to see how many bones you'll break. and how many heartbroken you can survive.

even being a single independent human in this planet doesn't mean anything. you'll meet someone. you'll bump into someone. you'll see someone. and you'll need someone.
but not everyone gives you flowers. sometimes they give you the thorn and you happily accept it.
talk about stupidity.

so when the time comes for you to man up, losing the things you want, just to see how you'll survive, and how it'll end up, there's no point in being gloomy over it, right?
when you let the birds out of the cage, it's only natural they started to fly and going up up and away.
you wouldn't let them fly with a chain on their feet, right?
because sometimes things are better when you let them go.

ja. sore ga yokatta kamo shirenai, ne?
just started it with Bismillahirrohmanirrohim, and ganbarimasu! yosh!

Another Experience - Our Last Night Live Concert, Jakcloth - May 2015

"sorry for the shitty sound. it's not our fault." and so Trevor Wentworth said before started singing. lol

well, they did take a lot of time for sound-checking the instrument. what supposed to be a 19.40 to 21.10 live concert become a 20.00 something to 20.55 live concert.
at first i didn't realized what they mean by 'shitty sound' but then when they started singing, yeah. it was quite bad. i felt some disappointment towards the crew, i mean., hey. they flew from afar just to perform with that?? even Trevor's mic sometimes gone off during the performance.

first thing i learn from watching Creed Live Concert back then in November 2012 is that, when you are at the disadvantage of height, the choices left are go to the front, or go to the back. never go to the middle, because what you're gonna see is just someone else's neck. or head. or hair. or even back.
well, you might get lucky if you tiptoed here and there, but well. it takes it tool. (screaming: oh my feet!!! T___T)

My best friend and i struggle our way to the 4th line at the front. i have to tiptoed a little bit, but it was Okay. for the next two songs. and then we chose to back out. not because i'm tired of tiptoeing, but we were pushed like crazy!!
first, we were somehow stuck around the guys, well there's another two girls in front of us, but i don't know what happen to them after we left our spot.

so, for the first song it was okay, i had to tiptoe, but then the pushing began. and in the next song, i realize that there were some people fighting behind us, thus, pushing us roughly. we were stuck! i can't see anything. i can't even tiptoed! well, how am i supposed to tiptoed while being pushed? and temper, temper. i lost my temper. guess it fell somewhere when i was pushed.

so i asked my bestfriend to go to the back. and even to do that it was a struggle! some guy behind me said to me "mbak, mbak, mending ke belakang aja deh." well, like i didn't know about that! and while we struggle our way, another guy yelling "woy, ada cewek woy! malu!", and then another guy in front of us, acting like a hero also pushing people and yell "woy! ada cewek, woy!" i don't know his intention, he might think that he looks like a hero, but well actually not really. at least if he wanted to be a hero, he would've open up our way. haha. but i appreciate the yelling. thank you, mister i-don't-know-who.

and then we stood at the back. there was a lot of audience! i actually didn't expect Our Last Night to be this famous. haha. sorry.
but, yeah, a lil bit tiptoeing, a lil bit Live Audio Concert, but at least i can sing along, moving and breathing in peace.
and i can take a couple of pic, but it was too far away, so.. i take what i can get.

and on our way home, we stopped to take a couple of pic.

i don't know what to say for this concert, but for 22k, guess i can't expect much.
Our Last Night sing these songs (not in consecutive order, i forgot, haha)
  • Same Old War
  • Reason to Love
  • Dark Storms
  • Age of Ignorance
  • Home (new song)
  • Liberate Me
  • Fate
  • I've Never Felt This Way
  • Dark Horse (cover song)
  • Skyfall (cover song)
  • Sunrise
they're awesome! but my love still goes to Mas Taka and Friends. they're unbeatable. haha.
oh by the way,, thank you to my best friend for accompanying me!! you are the best! :D

hope there'll be One Ok Rock concert for the 35xxxv album in Jakarta. please God, make it happen. pretty please? Aamiinn.

2nd Trip - First Step Out There

Hm.
well actually it's a totally late post, but let's make the best of it.
one of the reason why i write about this trip is that so i don't have to worry if the pics somehow got deleted. haha.

so, Alhamdulillah i was given the chance to take a step 'out there'.
i used to have a dream to go overseas. one thing that doesn't change is i'd like to go Hajj. but there was also my dream to visit England (mostly because of Westlife), then change into Austria (because i have an e-pal there), and nowadays it change to Japan (totally because my endless love to One Ok Rock and Tony Tony Chopper).

but at that moment it was a mere dream. i don't know when, i don't know how, and i can't even imagine myself to be there. it's just that i want to go there, but i don't have enough confidence in me that i actually will go there.

so, when this opportunity comes up, i grab it. fast. it comes with a price of course,, but i gain a lot.

it was in late November, 2014. my first step out there was.. Singapore.
that was also my first time buying foreign currency, and it was actually nothing, but my heart was thumping like crazy. i didn't spend a lot there, but i chose not to trade back the money i have left. well, just in case if i happen to go there again. haha

it was a long time ago, so i forgot all the details, and since the trip was taken care by other people in my group, so i was just going along with the flow.
i didn't do any research before hand, where to go, or what to buy. so practically, i was there just for sightseeing. and having fun. and taking picture. pictures. :D

we start from Batam, and we cross over the border using ferry. :D
In Singapore we stopped at some places; the Merlion Park, Singapore Botanic Garden, the front of Universal Studios, and Bugis Street.
so here are some of the photos.

waiting for our ferry in Sekupang Ferry Terminal
Mitaaa!! Mita yoo!!
Arrival Gate! that feeling when showing your passport for the first time,,,
i guess i pass the port! > o <
Near the Merlion Park. or is it already a part of Merlion Park? haha
mm.. i don't really know what i was doing. lol
@ Botanical Garden #1
@ Botanical Garden #2
@ Universal Studios #1
@ Universal Studios #2
Waiting for the ferry to go back

and my favorite pic of that day:
that's me. screaming "Yattaaaa!!!" as loud as i can. in my heart. (>o<)

so.
that's all.
and now, i'm trying to build my dream anew. now, with a self confidence in it. Bismillah.
Aaamiiiin..

Sadar bermimpi, bermimpi dengan sadar.

Jadi ceritanya, manusia itu suka bermimpi.
ada yang mimpinya jadi bunga tidur,
ada yang mimpinya jadi khayalan,
dan ada juga yang mimpinya jadi kenyataan.

menurut saya sih, tiap orang pasti punya mimpi, dan tiap orang pasti ingin mimpinya jadi kenyataan.
masalahnya, tidak tiap orang berusaha membuat mimpinya jadi kenyataan.
kalau rejeki emang gak bakal kemana, tapi kalau nunggu rejeki yang datang ke kita, mau nunggu sampai kapan?

setidaknya kalau berusaha, rasa-rasanya semakin dekat sama mimpi. bukan begitu?

kebetulan saya dulu jarang punya mimpi. saya cuma menjalani hidup apa adanya.

selanjutnya banyak mimpi-mimpi jangka pendek lainnya.
kemudian dilanjut mimpi-mimpi lain.

sekarang saya mulai belajar bikin mimpi-mimpi jangka panjang.

intinya, everything's happen for a reason, cuma kadang kala, kita belum 'dikasih tahu' reason-nya apa.

balik tentang mimpi..

jadi, mari. mari bermimpi!

ps:

Hello, Life.

selain itu, all is good.
but then. i guess i'll just have to accept it. there, right there. saat suara kapten menyambut dengan nada standar, 'selamat datang di Bandara Soekarno Hatta bla bla bla..'
and all i can say is, 'Hello, Life.'

guess i'm getting old. haha.

Break

rem. rem.
berhenti.
istirahat.

lepas topeng. guling-guling. atau ngegelinding?

rem kaki. rem tangan.
turunin kaki.
biar berhenti.

tapi gak boleh noleh. boleh lelah. tapi jangan kalah.

tapi tunggu.
sebentar.
beberapa menit.
agak sesak.
mungkin agak lama.
oh iya, gak lama-lama tapi.
sebentar.

sistemnya masih nyangkut,
nge-hang.
mungkin kepanasan.
terlalu banyak aplikasi yang jalan.
RAMnya kurang sepertinya.
ah tidak, cukup.
Bug, sepertinya.

sebentar. sedikit lagi.
...

berhenti. sejenak.
mengatur nafas.
pasang senyum.
baca basmalah.
insya Allah siap.

sip.
mari, jalan lagi.
 :)

because i said so.,

Percaya atau tidak,

Bahagia itu pilihan.
Gagal itu kesempatan.
Sukses itu ujian.

Ikhlas itu susah.
Menyerah itu mudah.
Jadi terserah.

Percaya atau tidak,

Hidup itu indah.

Yeah,
Because i said so.

Level Up!!

Tahukah anda,

Setelah Ichigo menguasai Final Getsuga Tenshou, ia kehilangan kekuatannya.

Tahukah anda,

Mereka tidak diam saja.
Mereka tidak menerima saja.

Luffy memutuskan berlatih selama dua tahun penuh sebelum bertemu dengan teman-temannya dan memulai perjalanan lagi.
Goku malah dibawa ke Other World buat latihan di King Kai's Planet.
Naruto belajar jadi Sage dibawah bimbingan Jiraiya.
Ichigo latihan jadi Fullbringer.

Tidak. Mereka tidak diam saja.
Mereka level up.

Mereka hanya karakter anime.
Tentu saja.

One are bound to be defeated by another.
Namun, setelah kalah, mereka berusaha lagi.

Manusia akan terus berubah.
Keadaan pun akan berubah.
If you stuck in a moment, then you'll be left out.

jangan lewatkan!
Hadapi!
daaaann.. Level Up!!

and so.. Gintoki said,..

'Life is all about having both happiness and sadness' (Gintama #82)

yep. it is.

you'll never know what's gonna hit you. you'll never know how deep you're gonna fall.
on the other hand,, you'll never know who'll bring you flowers. you'll never know how high you're gonna fly.

but, whether it's falling or flying,,
whether it's a critical hit or an ultimate boost of serotonin.

either way, you have to keep going. you must to keep going.
in fact, you don't have any other option left.
what? running away? Doko ni? where? other universe? Shinde kudasai.
what? stopping time? turning back time? tell me how much sci-fi movie you've watched.

you just have to keep going.
my sister once said., when you're arrive at a crossroads, when you don't know which is right and which is wrong, you still have to keep going. you'll never really know which one is right, or the other way.
when you choose one, and it turns out wrong, what's the odd that the other way will end up in a better situation?
after you're trying and it didn't got to the way you wanted, maybe it's meant to be that way. all you have to do is keep walking. live with the consequences. ssh,, quit whining.

Shuuji in Nobuta wo Produce once said, no matter how deep you fell, you have to keep going. because life won't end even if you're in a dark deep hole. *yep, unless you already dead when you fell, hehe

da..ka..ra. Ganbare yo!
life won't be easy on you, just like how it'll be hard on everyone else.

for the time being, i don't even know what should i do, i don't even understand what is right and what is wrong,, you must have been on that point to, haven't you? or if you really haven't been,, then be patient. you're on your way.

so,, Bismillahirrohmanirrohim. and Gambaru!

Oh, please.. Stop talking about job as a "job"!

see, when the people who wants to got paid for doing something, and the people who's willing to pay the money collide, that's the exact moment where a job is created.

a job. why would anyone got paid doing the job?
hell because no one would do it for free. and if they do, they'd called it having fun instead of having job.

but then. i was thinking about Sam and Dean. you know, the duo-super-handsome-but-monsters-killers-that-i-still-can't-understand-why-they-are-still-alive from Supernatural TV Series.
i can even imagine when Sam got tired of his such amazing life and wondering why would they do all the dirty work, and Dean would yell at him, saying, "because it's our job! it's what we do!" (saving people, hunting things,... and now my mind just flashback to Supernatural's early season.. hmpf)

why would they do it? they don't even got paid,
so why would Dean define what he did as a Job?

so maybe.
he's not using it in 'a paid position of regular employment'-term.
or even 'task or piece of work, especially one that is paid'-term.
ps: i'm still scrolling down my cell for finding any other Job's meaning from an online dictionary...and i couldn' t find any. blame my cell. yeah. someone definitely got to got me a new cell. just wishing.

so maybe.
he used it, in a 'responsibilty'-term.
like it or not, there. you have it. *grin*

so.
stop talking about your job as a "job"!
it's your responsibility, man! hit it with your mind, bite it with your words, and tickle it with your hands, and it's aaaall yours. to create whatever good things that it might came out with.

as s***ty as your job might be, you are not out there shooting 'things', it's just ordinary job, the one, that might become a light for others even if you can't see the lights.

now, say a prayer.. pray that what you do is only a way to serve yourself for the good, and that it can help you to help others.
amiin..

well,, let's eat all the cake!!!!!!!!!!! *9gag-mode

kalau jodoh gak kemana,,

kata-kata itu sangat lazim didengar.

"kalau jodoh gak kemana.."

jodoh?

jodoh?
haha

beberapa hari lalu saya sangat ingin nonton film bioskop. bahkan menyempat-nyempatkan browsing film-film apa saja yang sedang ditayangkan di bioskop terdekat dari kosan.
tanggal 26 kemarin kakak pertama saya mengunjungi kosan. dan pulangnya saya antar sampai halte busway. namun, belum sampai di halte, kami melewati bioskop. ya, kakak saya kemudian mengajak saya nonton.

jodoh gak kemana.
ya, saya yakin. jodoh tidak hanya masalah pasangan hidup.
tapi juga banyak hal lain.
pertemuan, pekerjaan, dan hal-hal lain.

sebelum nonton, kakak saya bilang, "kadang kita ingin sesuatu, namun tidak berhasil mendapatkannya. namun suatu saat, tanpa kita sadari, keinginan kita ternyata terkabulkan. hanya kita tidak tahu kapan."

ya,
kalau jodoh gak kemana, :D

if my plans doesn't work, then it means Allah have a much better plans for me.
so i'm right where i have to be. so my problems is there to strengthen me.
just so i got what i need, not what i want.
so quit whining. because each of us deserve, a gift for our struggle.

:D

sepertinya, di persimpangan itu...

pernahkah anda terpikir?

tapi tetap saja, remote control masih kita pegang masing-masing.
jangan lupa baterainya pakai Qalbu. biar awet. :D

mirip kotak ular tangga kali ya? ada naik turun. tapi semua ada skenarionya.
anda pilih mana?

mungkin belum saatnya kita bertemu.

maka bersyukurlah,
kita masih diizinkan untuk bernafas.
dan mungkin, kita bisa bertemu lagi.
